Hey there! If you are reading this, i am guessing you want hear more about me, well uhh for starters. i am a London-based photographer and videographer. I started photography when i was only six years, on an iphone 6 (this exact one!) The photo on the right side is my first ever photo.
I mean don’t get me wrong I sucked until about the age of 10, when i bought my first camera, the lumix fz82. it did take some pretty cool photos of the moon.
After i got the lumix fz82 (sorry lumix), I had upgraded to the absolute beast of the lumix gh5 (Bottom right). Compared to the fz82 and iphone, this thing in my eyes was top tier. Soon after getting this I saw a HUGE improvement in my work.
For my education, I studied Media production, on top of that I studied drama behind the scenes where I specialised in lighting. I hate maths. I also attended the Queen’s theatre for a further education outside of required education. I now study film and TV production as a level 3 BTEC.
All of my knowledge of cameras was self-taught. I know right, impressive? ha..ha..ha.. but it has been my entire life really. so who can blame me.
Enough talking about me now though. I could not have come this far without some people who need to be mentioned.
Firstly, Eric Peng. He is the Sony ambassador for Sony in Australia and New Zealand. He is also the guy who launched me from just a 17 year old kid into a professional. I first met Eric in Birmingham, at the Photography and Videography Exhibition. We spoke for at least an hour, he helped me pick my brand new baby, the sony a7 v. He then invited me to my first Sony event, then later the sony creators week. He has opened so many doors for me and I cannot thank him enough.
Another person i have to mention is Ben Kapur, I met Ben at the Sony Creator’s Week. When I first met Ben, I honestly was thinking it would just be a sales pitch, however he gave me genuine advice. He went from a random stranger to someone I consider an inspiration, a mentor and a friend in just one simple conversation.
Another person I have to mention is Aemilia, She is awesome too. I only met her recently but honestly all these people have given me so much inspiration and living proof that my dream CAN be accomplished.
The final people I have to mention is obviously my parents. For supporting me with choosing probably one of the most expensive hobbies and helping me pursue my dreams and believing in me this whole time. I have to specifically mention my dad. He has taken me across England and the world so I can meet all these amazing people and giving me the opportunities that i have to this day.
